Joy Okinda Profile

Miss Joy Okinda joined Undugu Society of Kenya from Kenya Alliance for Advancement of Children, (KAARC), where she worked as Program Manager for two years. While there, she was in-charge of compiling proposals, coordinating projects up to evaluation, supervising periodical donor project/monitoring, Managing, supervising and coordinating projects at National, regional and grass root levels, managing and ensuring budgetary controls in organization for successful completion of annual targets as well as Supervising programs supported by, Save the Children Finland, Canada, Sweden, ICS, ICCO, Edukans Foundation, EducAIDS, TDH.

Previously, she worked with Speak for the Child organization where she served under various capacities which include, Programme Coordinator, Program Officer and Administrator, Administration and Financial Associate.

Given her vast experience, she joins Undugu as a Senior Program Manager to spearhead development of concepts into proposals, project planning, monitoring and evaluation, research and development at management level.


Miss Okinda has a B.SC.International Business Administration, Degree in Masters of Arts in Project Planning and Management, Post Graduate Diploma in Community Based Project Planning and Management, Post Graduate Higher Diploma in Guidance and Counseling, Certificate in Organizational Learning and Change and CPA Section 1.
